Yawning Druid There's no band I'd rather hear new music from than Nechochwen, and the long wait has finally paid off. Kanawha Black is the perfect barrel-aged culmination of the band's years of hard work. The songs are more textured and complex than ever. Though this album leans more heavily on the metal aspects, the folk elements are more than just present--they are demanding. Nechochwen is quite possibly one of black metal's most unique bands with a museum-quality sound all their own. Absolutely incredible. Favorite track: I Can Die But Once.
