BS_Sam Obsequiae is really something special and unique. I love all three albums. Dreamy medieval black metal without any hint of kitsch. It just has „that“ weird but acquainted atmosphere.

Please make a vinyl reissue of this first album as it’s a masterpiece.

porcelainheart- Obsequiae's debut full-length, and their debut into the world of "medieval" black metal. Picking a favorite is nigh impossible because of how unique each of them are. The production makes this even better. I can't leave a FFO, because Obsequiae is a sound all on it's own. Favorite track: Altars of Moss.

ingw0 So many artists fall into the 'folk metal' category, but Obsequiae are, in my opinion, the only band that truly fits the definition. Gorgeous harp-work, crushing riffs and wonderful olde-worlde atmospheres make for an absolutely gorgeous album. Favorite track: Boreas.
